Independent Baptist Church is holding its 32nd Homecoming on Aug. 18 beginning at 10 a.m. It will feature the Living Truth Quartet and Broth Bobby McGilliard. The public is welcome to attend the event.

AUGUST 19

Independent Baptist Church is set to hold its revival on Aug. 19 through Aug. 21 beginning at 7 p.m. each night, featuring Brother Bobby McGilliard. All are invited to attend.

AUGUST 21

The monthly book review at Rock Island Cumberland Presbyterian Church is set for Aug. 21. The program will be led by Tennessee Tech University Associate Professor of History Dr. Troy Smith who will present a lecture about the Battle of Rock Island, the last of the significant engagements of the Chickamauga Wars. All are invited to attend.

AUGUST 25

The annual McGee Reunion will be held on Sun., Aug. 25 at Shellsford Baptist Church Fellowship Hall at noon.
