An open invitation is extended to a Book Review at 2 p.m. at the Rock Island Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Dr. Bill Campbell will present a 45-minute review of author David McCullough’s biography of Harry S Truman. Social distancing is available in the sanctuary and masks are recommended. Water and fellowship on the front porch following.

It’s Ladies Day at Bybee Branch Church of Christ. Guest speaker will be Lori Boyd. The theme is “Focus on the Future: A God for All Seasons.” Registration begins at 9 a.m. with program at 9:30 a.m. The church is located at 1165 Old Smithville Road. Social distancing will be in place.

There will be a Blood Drive at Saint Thomas River Park Hospital on Monday, March 29 from 1 to 6 p.m. Donors will receive a “Never Stop the Adventure of Saving Lives” T-shirt and be entered into a drawing to win a 2021 side-by-side. Donors are asked to eat a good meal, drink additional water, avoid energy drinks and bring ID. The Bloodmobile will be parked in front parking lot.
