Warren County government offices and Warren County convenience centers will be closed for Presidents Day.

McMinnville City Hall offices will be closed in observance of Presidents Day. There will not be garbage service Monday. Those routes will run along with Tuesday’s route.


Westwood Church of Christ will have its free clothing giveaway from 8 to 10 a.m.

The Warren County Republican Party will be meeting in the Early Voting Room in back of the Administration Building at 6:30 p.m. After their election, SEC representative Joanne Davis will speak and they will lay out plans for the coming year.

Central High School Class of 1952 will be having its monthly get-together at 12:30 p.m. at Nana’s Kountry Kupboard on Sunnyside Heights. 


The Shady Grove Community Club will have a Soup and Chili Supper at the Community Center at 5261 Shady Grove Road, Morrison, at 6 p.m. Live music will be provided. Donations for the meal will be accepted at the door and a door prize will be drawn for those present. Proceeds will be used for upkeep of the Community Center.

HAWC is having its fourth annual Chili Cook-off and silent auction at the Moose Lodge from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. Admission to enter your chili in the cook-off is $10. A registration form can be found on HAWC’s Facebook page.



There will be a benefit supper and auction for Scott and Jennifer Parkhurst on Saturday, March 2 at Fairview CIC. The meal will begin at 5 p.m. with the auction scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for kids 6 and under. The menu includes fish or chicken, french fries, slaw, hushpuppies, white beans, dessert and drink. For more information, call Beth at 808-6293.

The United States Navy Band Sea Chanters performance is scheduled for March 19 at 7 p.m. at Park Theater. The U.S. Navy Band Sea Chanters is the official chorus of America’s Navy. The ensemble performs a variety of music ranging from traditional choral music, including sea chanteys and patriotic fare, to opera, Broadway, and contemporary music. All Navy Band performances are free and open to the public.

The 31st Judicial District Adult Court Program wishes to announce graduation ceremonies to be held Tuesday, Feb. 26 at 5 p.m. at the Warren County Administrative Building in the Magnolia Room. The public is invited.
