There will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 2 to 6 p.m. at the auditorium of Caney Fork Electric, 920 Smithville Highway in McMinnville.

Warren County government offices will be closed from Dec. 24-25 for Christmas Eve and Christmas and also Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.
County convenience centers will be open Monday, Dec. 24 for regular hours, but closed on Tuesday, Dec. 25 for Christmas and Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day.
McMinnville city government offices will be closed Monday, Dec. 24 and Tuesday, Dec. 25 for Christmas. Offices will also be closed Monday, Dec. 31 and Tuesday, Jan. 1 for New Year’s Day. No trash pickup will be offered Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. Both commercial and residential trash pickup will run on normal schedules for Dec. 24 and Dec. 31, with the exception of downtown commercial (cart service). Those will run Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 along with Tuesday and Wednesday routes.
Producers in Tennessee who are interested in implementing conservation practices to improve natural resources on their farmland have until Friday, Jan. 18 to submit their application for financial assistance through the Natural Resources Conservation Service Environmental Quality Incentives Program.
