The Warren County Democratic Party will meet at 6 p.m. at the Community Room of the Chamber of Commerce. Guest speaker will be McMinnville native Jackie Dunn Pope. A light meal will be provided.

Westwood Church of Christ will have its free clothing giveaway from 8 to 10 a.m.
FRIDAY, DEC. 7
Gardens of Memory Cemetery is having a candlelight service. Candles will be lit from 4 to 5 p.m. with the service starting at 6 p.m. If it rains, the service will be rescheduled for Dec. 14. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.
The fifth annual McMinnville Nativity Festival will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 562 Shangri La Lane. It features hundreds of nativities from around the world, live music, artwork depicting the life of Jesus Christ and family friendly activities. Additional hours are Saturday from 3 to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.
SATURDAY, DEC. 8
Warren County Toy Ride will leave Plaza Shopping Center at noon. This is a Christmas fundraiser for needy children in the community. All toys and money are donated to the Rescue Squad for its annual Toy Drive.
There will be pet pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Citizen’s Tri-County Bank, 101 W. Main Street from 9 a.m. to noon. A minimum of $5 donation is being asked as all proceeds go to HAWC’s spay/ neuter fund.

The Warren County Retired Teachers Association will have its Christmas get-together at the Webb House for a brunch at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 13. The program will be presented by Linda McCreary, who is a member of the NEA Retiree Board of Directors. Donations will be accepted for Meals on Wheels. Covenant Academy invites everyone to have breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at 1079 Country Club Drive. Tickets are $20 per person and includes a photo with Santa, breakfast, reindeer food, crafts and activities. To reserve a ticket, call 931-668-6185.
