NOVEMBER 3

Bethel Hill Baptist Church will be hosting a revival from Nov. 3 through Nov. 6 beginning at 6:30 p.m. nightly. Brother Dean Northcutt will be serving as evangelist. Bethel Hill Baptist Church is located at 1137 W. Green Hill Road.


NOVEMBER 4

The monthly meeting for Warren County Democratic Party is set for Nov. 4 at the Warren County Administrative Building located at 201 Locust Street. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the meeting begins at 8 p.m.


NOVEMBER 9

Junior Auxiliary is holding its annual Coats for the Community event on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Westwood Church of Christ’s gymnasium. Westwood Church of Christ is located at 511 Morrison Street.


Morrison Ruritan is offering a chili supper on Nov. 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to raise funds for food boxes.


NOVEMBER 16

The Warren County Genealogical and Historical Association will be meeting on Nov. 16 at 2 p.m. at the Warren County Administrative Building located at 201 Locust Street. The meeting will take place in the early voting room and the program will entail Raven Young’s presentation “History of the Fraley’s Building.” Visitors are welcome to attend.


Magness Library is holding its 3rd Annual Local Authors Day on Nov. 16 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free event invites the community to come meet local authors at the library and introduces local authors to the local writer’s group that meets on the first Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. The event will take place on the second floor of the library. Popcorn and drawings for books will be offered. Authors who wish to setup at the event can contact Merissa Chapman at magnessref@gmail.com.

A cancer support group is set to meet at 9 a.m. on the last Saturday of each month. The meetings take place at Christ Chapel Church located at 200 Chapel Dr.


The Warren County Nurse Honor Guard are volunteers of both active and retired registered nurses and licensed practical nurses who are passionate in recognizing individuals who have dedicated their live to the profession of nursing through a ceremonial activity at the request of the individual’s family. The tribute is free. The group can be contacted on its Facebook page.


Proverbs 31 Woman in a Psalms 31 World ministry holds its Humble Beginnings Cookie Ministry meetings on the second Sat. of each month. Included in their service is the preparation and packaging of cookies that are taken to current inmates of the local jails. The meetings take place at Helping Hands Ministry located at 216 E. Main Street beginning at 10 a.m., and all attendees are asked to enter through the Heavenly Closet entrance. Donations of cookies, cookie dough and labels are always welcome contributions.
