The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive from 2 to 6 p.m. at Caney Fork Electric auditorium at 920 Smithville Highway.

The third annual Non-Alcohol New Year’s Eve event is scheduled for Dec. 31 at the Farmers Market from 9 p.m. to midnight. Musical entertainment by Runaway Home, line dancing, cornhole games, and a costume contest will be accompanied by hot apple cider, hot chocolate, hot Dr Pepper and fire pits to keep warm. A watch night service will be held Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. through midnight at Faith Missionary Baptist Church at 111 River Drive. There will be preaching, singing, finger foods, giveaways and trivia.
A singing will be held New Year’s Eve at Browntown Church of Christ from 8 p.m. through midnight. Refreshments will be served. Everyone is invited.
A fundraiser for Cliff Brown, who recently had a stroke, will be held Jan. 6 at the VFW. There will be concerts from 7 to 11 p.m. featuring Loomis and Randy Sullivan. All proceeds go to the family. Admission is $10 and includes meal.
Lucky CIC will hold its regular meeting at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 8.
McMinnville Noon Exchange has a limited number of 2018 Veteran calendars available. They may be purchased at Ashley’s Attic or the Southern Standard for $15. Proceeds go to Veterans Matter, which helps to house homeless veterans.
Young Men United Center at 199 Vanley Rowan Road will be holding concerts every Tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m. with the Country Breeze Band which does a wide assortment of musical styles. Admission is $5 and refreshments are available.
