McMinnville employees might see a little more in their paychecks if a measure to provide them with a 3.5 percent increase remains unchanged for fiscal year 2017-18.The city Finance Committee met to consider step increases and a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for employees. Committee members reinstated the use of step increases at 2.5 percent and included a COLA of 1 percent. Step increases set an employee’s salary as a new hire by their skill level.
