City chews over what to do about mobile food trucks

As the number of mobile food trucks within the city of McMinnville continues to rise, officials are being asked by the owners of permanent businesses to do something that might stem the arrival of more. “When the explosion of vendors around the city of McMinnville, we may need to start at some point soon looking at vendor’s licenses and vendor fees,” said Mayor Jimmy Haley. “They are popping up everywhere and I’ve had lots of requests and discussions from some of the business owners and merchants on how many vendors are we going to allow?
