Judge Bart Stanley ruled on the following cases Wednesday in Circuit Court.

Harry Levoid Tigue was ordered to serve 180 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence for domestic assault. He was also ordered to take the batterer’s intervention course.

According to the warrant for his arrest, Tigue became argumentative with a female and grabbed her by the neck when she tried to leave. When the victim was on the floor, Tigue reportedly placed his knee on her so she couldn’t get up, with the victim saying she could not breathe. 

The female victim was also punched in the face during the altercation with the arrest warrant noting she showed physical signs of the attack.

Christopher Scott Christian was ordered to serve 365 days for simple possession of meth and violation of probation.

Roy Douglas Parsley was ordered to serve 120 days of a four-year sentence for aggravated assault.

Ordered to serve jail time for violation of probation were:

• Wesley Garrett Grissom, 270 days

• Jacob Lee Hill, 120 days

• Gary Kip Powell, 60 days

• Kyle Allen Reese, 60 days

• Thomas James Troupe, 120 days
