The Bonnaroo community received a serving of sobering news Friday when the Standard learned Prater’s BBQ will not be operating a booth at this year’s four-day music festival in Manchester. It will be the first time in Bonnaroo history the festival has taken place without the welcoming Prater’s BBQ booth perched in front of the main stage. Prater’s has been there through Paul McCartney and Tom Petty, through the Police and Metallica.
