Boyd Christian School held its first Car and Motorcycle Show on Saturday.

“The day was beautiful and the event was a big success,” said Boyd principal Donna Newby. “It was the first time we had ever had a car show and we were very pleased with the number of people who participated and came out to support Boyd School. We hope to have another car and motorcycle show in the future.”

In the classic cars category, Best in Show and People’s Choice went to Bill Johnson. His 1968 Blue CT Truck drew and held the attention of judges and visitors.

Classic cars first place went to Steve Stubblefield, second place to Bobby Ashford, and third place to Paul Collins.

In the motorcycle category, Best Motorcycle went to Kendal Rogers, the son of Dale Rogers and Holly Rogers. Dale shares the motorcycle, a 2019 Orange Harley-Davidson Street-glide, with his father.

Motorcycle second place went to Mac Farmer, while third place went to Carl Bouldin. People’s Choice was presented to Abe Rogers.

The school’s first Car and Motorcycle Show was held Oct. 3 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and had an entry fee of $25.
