Boren, Duncan announce plans to marry May 29

Emily Lyn Boren and Ethan Taylor Duncan have planned a barn wedding at Triple Creek Farm.

Emily Lyn Boren will wed Ethan Taylor Duncan in a ceremony planned to take place May 29 at Triple Creek Farm in Smithville. 

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mike and Phyllis Boren of McMinnville. She is the granddaughter of Martha Faye Bell and the late Bobby Bell, Betty Boren and the late James Boren, and special grandparent figures Jack and Betty Womack, all of Rock Island. 

The groom-elect is the son of Danny and Cynthia Duncan of McMinnville. He is the grandson of Kenneth and Barbara Woods, and the late Levoy and Opal Duncan, all of McMinnville. 

Miss Boren graduated from Warren County High School in 2010 and attended Maryville College, graduating in 2014 with a bachelor of arts in history, a bachelor of arts in communications, and a bachelor of science in physics. Employed with Clayton Homes corporate in Maryville as its brand strategy manager, she is also a member of the American Marketing Association and a member of Midway CIC.

Her fiancé graduated from Warren County High School in 2009 and attended Tennessee Tech University, graduating in 2013 with a bachelor of science in psychology degree. Employed in Cookeville with Averitt Express in specialized services, he is also a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ and a member of Warren Arts. 

They have planned a barn wedding.
