Break out your festival finery and grab your favorite totem: Bonnaroo is Back, baby! In its 23rd year, the annual musical behemoth heads back to its Manchester home for another weekend of culture and comradery.

While the major festivals seem to be skewing away from rock band laden line-ups in favor of more pop and hip-hop headliners, there will be no shortage of chances to jam.

The circus rolls into town Thursday with a late-night set from the Insane Clown Posse. Those searching for more laid back, country fare can check out Luke Combs earlier in the evening or get pumped up with a DJ set from Dom Dolla.

Friday forges ahead with a meaty list of offerings. Get into the groove with Goose, and feel the vibes with Tyler the Creator, Foster the People and Rainbow Kitten Surprise. Then wrap up the night with a literal banger at Megadeath.

Saturday night is ladies night! Avril Lavigne and Olivia Rodrigo hit the main stage, while Remi Wolf throws a pool party Superjam. Nelly will also be heating up the night, as will, one assumes, Saxsquatch. Consider me intrigued.

Remi Wolf is back on Sunday for a proper set, along with Vampire Weekend and Queens of the Stone Age. The whole shebang concludes with a What Stage send-off from Hozier.

If all this weren’t enough to entice you, there are dozens of other performances to enjoy, including two sets from King Grizzard & the Lizard Wizard, a feast of food booths, parades, artisans and other vendors. There’s plenty to tickle anyone’s fancy.

Tickets are still available for the weekend or single-day passes. There’s no better way to spend this weekend, just make sure to take care: Stay hydrated, take breaks, wear sunscreen and be rich whenever possible. It’s brutal out here ... But also magical and amazing.
