There will be beer at this year’s Smokin’ in McMinnville BBQ competition. McMinnville’s Board of Mayor and Aldermen has unanimously approved a resolution to sanction the cook-off. The endorsement allows a qualified charitable or nonprofit organization to sell beer at the event, as long as it first receives a Special Event Beer Permit from the Alcoholic Beverage Board.
