McMinnville Police Department wants to remind motorists of parking restrictions during the Christmas parade this weekend.The parade is set for Saturday, Dec. 2. Police will be restricting parking from 12 to 4:30 p.m. The parade is set to begin at 2:30 p.m. Main Street will be cleared of parked vehicles ahead of time. McMinnville Police Major Mike Lane says the department does not allow vehicles on Main Street for the enjoyment of onlookers and the safety of everyone.“We do this for safety purposes,” said Lane.
