A sick room at Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center is taking shape. The county Building and Grounds Committee met and approved a request by center director Kim Pettrey for additional electrical wiring which will turn what was a storage room for animal food into a sick room to remove ill animals from the general population.Committee members Carl E. Bouldin, Carolyn Miller, David Rhea, Kenny Roberts and Michael Shane Wilcher unanimously approved the request with county maintenance director Greg Bowdoin performing the electrical work. “We’ll let Greg do it so we don’t have to hire anyone,” said Bouldin.
