Warren County Animal Control and Adoption Center has been closed since Wednesday due to distemper and is expected to be closed for a month.“We have a dog showing all the signs of distemper,” facility director Kim Pettrey said Wednesday. “We put the facility under a self-imposed quarantine, no animals in or out, until we knew for sure."The dog in question tested positive. Distemper is a highly contagious, fatal disease.
