Anderson guilty of theft over $80K

A woman has avoided jail time for stealing more than $80,000 from her employer over a 17-month span. McMinnville resident Laurel Magan Anderson, 29, was placed on probation for five years, ordered to perform 50 hours public service work, and repay the amount she stole, $81,190, to Western Finance. She was granted a judicial diversion, which means she can have her criminal record erased if she gets in no further trouble during her five-year probation sentence.
