Local drug traffickers sentenced

Sentences were handed down recently by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley against several local drug traffickers. Included in sentences on narcotics charges:• Michael Shane Davis was ordered to serve one year of a 10-year sentence, pay $3,000 plus costs, and will be allowed to enter the drug court program for initiating the process to manufacture meth.• Kevin Lee Fralix was instructed to serve one year of a six-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of amphetamine.• Sarah April Sanders was directed to serve one year of an eight-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for initiating the process to manufacture meth.• John Michael Poss was directed to serve 180 days of an eight-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for initiating the process to manufacture meth.• Susan Michelle Walker was ordered to serve 120 days of a two-year sentence and must pay $2,000 plus costs for promoting the manufacture of meth.• Nickey Cantrell was ordered to serve 140 days of a two-year sentence and must pay $2,000 plus costs for promoting the manufacture of meth.• Angela Faye Dennis was directed to serve 90 days of a 10-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of cocaine.• Christy Lynn Hayes was instructed to serve 120 days of a two-year sentence and pay $2,000 plus costs for delivery of Dihydrocodenone.• Wanda Kay Perez was instructed to serve 90 days of a three-year sentence and must pay $2,000 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for delivery of Dihydrocodenone.• Amanda Bates was granted a two-year judicial diversion and must pay $2,000 plus costs and perform 40 hours public service work for promoting the manufacture of meth. She must also maintain full-time employment and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment.• Billy Don George was granted a two-year judicial diversion and must pay $2,000 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for delivery of a counterfeit drug.
