Eagles, Beatles tribute bands to perform

Main Street McMinnville has announced its lineup for the 2014 Main Street Live summer concert series. The season begins June 13 with a tribute to the Eagles and ends July 25 with a bluegrass legend.
“This is going to be a great season,” said Main Street McMinnville executive director Carla King.
Taking the stage first and kicking off the 10th season of Main Street Live will be 7 Bridges, an Eagles tribute band with Jason Manning as Glenn Frey, Keith Thoma as Don Henley, Bryan Graves as Randy Meisner/Timothy B. Schmit, Race Godson as Joe Walsh, Douglas Gery as Don Felder, and Vernon Roop as Joe Vitale.
The lineup is as follows:
• June 13 – 7 Bridges
• June 20 – Noah Smith and Band with country/rock
• June 27 –SixtyFour with The Beatles Ed Sullivan 50th anniversary show
• July 4 – Joe Harvey Band with a beach party
• July 11 –Utopia with R&B
• July 18 – Bueller, a Nashville 1980s band
• July 25 – Offering the grand finale will be Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver with bluegrass/gospel.
Lawson was inducted into the International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame in 2012, the same year the band garnered its first Inspirational Country Music Vocal Group of the Year honor. With nearly 40 albums, the band is a seven-time winner of International Bluegrass Music Association’s Vocal Group of the Year.
Main Street Live concerts are free and held on the West Lawn of Security Federal.
