There will be no more late-start Thursdays this year as the Warren County Board of Education has opted to stop the monthly in-service sessions in favor of gaining another snow day.“We said when we started this that if we got in a bind with the weather we would look at changing it back,” said Director of Schools Bobby Cox. “With the weather we’ve had, and the possibility of more coming, I think we could use the extra day.”Late-start Thursdays allowed teachers to confer about the Common Core curriculum once a month while school started two hours late.
