McMinnville police officers are trying to determine if a string of late-night burglaries in recent weeks are related. The last two burglaries, which took place Wednesday night, were at Three Pigs BBQ on Sparta Street, and the BP station on S. Chancery Street.“In most of the cases they are getting money or whatever they can grab quickly,” said McMinnville police investigator Derwin Adcock. “We’re looking at all of them overall to see if there’s a connection. There have been six or seven over the past two or three weeks.”Three Pigs BBQ owner Lane Fawcett said the thief or thieves gained access to his restaurant by using an object, likely a large crowbar, to pry open the back door.
