The son of Judge Bill Locke has been hit with marijuana charges for a second time, this arrest threatening to lead to the violation of his probation.The suspect, Thomas D. Locke, 19, is charged with simple possession of marijuana. A special judge will be appointed to hear his case since his father would have been the judge in the misdemeanor case.The teen was charged after McMinnville policeman Joseph Vanbommel noticed his 2004 Chevy Silverado on Highway 70 Bypass. It caught the officer’s attention since the driver’s side headlight was out.“I smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle,” the policeman said of the scent that wafted from the truck.The officer said he removed the four passengers from the vehicle and didn’t find any drugs on them.
