Judge Ross issues sentences

Sentences were handed down Tuesday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court. Included in court action:• Travis R. Hale was ordered to serve 105 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence for vandalism, second-offense driving on a suspended license, and violation of probation.• Nolan Hillis was ordered to serve 90 days and lose his driver license for one year for criminal trespass and driving on a suspended license.• Kristopher Hardeman was instructed to serve 22 days of an 11-29 sentence for domestic assault.• Herman Dillard was ordered to serve 14 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $100 plus costs and attend conflict management for domestic assault.• Donald Herrin was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.• Darrell Hobbs was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.• Cheyanna J. Hanow was bound to the grand jury on the charge of domestic assault.• Whitney Dunwoody and William Dunwoody Jr., were ordered to serve 15 days of 11-29 sentences and make $400 restitution for theft.• Terry R. Collins was bound to the grand jury on the charge of aggravated burglary.• Jeffery Stephens was instructed to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence for assault.• Logan K. Fuqua was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence for vandalism.• Jamie Roach was bound to the grand jury on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.• Rhonda Rhea must serve 10 days for violation of probation.• Angela Scott had her probation extended by one year for violation of probation.• Zackery Steele must serve 10 days and have his probation extended by one year for violation of probation.• John H. Simons must serve 10 days for violation of probation.• Michael T. Woods must serve 10 days for violation of probation.
