Judge Locke hears 55-person court docket

A 55-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:• Tonya Barkes was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,501, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school and lose her driver license for one year for DUI and driving on a revoked license.• Francisco Martinez was ordered to serve 20 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence and pay $560 for evading arrest, driving without a license, and leaving the scene of an accident.• Jennifer Ham was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $608 and lose her driver license for one year for third-offense driving on a suspended license and criminal impersonation.• Mario Gregory was bound to the grand jury on charges of 10th offense driving on a revoked license and violation of the habitual traffic offender status.• Richard Beechum was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $1,803, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment and lose his driver license for driving on a revoked license and simple possession of drugs. He had his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.• Dale Williams was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $32 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Matthew Zahn was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $306 and lose his driver license for one year for underage possession of alcohol.• Robert Woolsey Jr., was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a revoked license.• Mario Castorena was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Michael Foster was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a revoked license.• Marcos Portillo must pay $305 for driving without a license and running a stop sign.• Anna Byars must pay $219 for driving without a license.• Jackee Marsh, Marco Delapaz and Jessica Medley must pay $152 for driving without a license.Clarification• David Kirby who owns David Kirby Signs on Patton Road is not the David Kirby convicted of delivery of drugs.• Becky Williams of Walmart is not the Becky Williams convicted of public intoxication.
