A 52-person docket was heard Tuesday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court. Included in court action:• Sarah M. Rust was ordered to serve seven days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $750 plus costs and must stay out of Walmart for possession of drugs and shoplifting.• Robert Lyle was directed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $750 plus costs for possession of drugs.• Michael D. Gaekle was bound to the grand jury on charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.• Joshua K. Barnes was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must pay $250 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for possession of drugs.• Trevin K. Childress was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $100 plus costs for domestic assault.• Michael Mayfield was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $100 plus costs for domestic assault.• Charles L. Dennis was bound to the grand jury on charges of theft and possession of drugs.• John Simons was issued a six-month probationary sentence and must perform 16 hours public service work for theft.• Leann Cagle was granted an 11-29 judicial diversion and must pay $50 plus costs and perform eight hours public service work for theft.• Michael Murphy was bound to the grand jury on the charge of hindering secured creditors.• Marlin Pinkard was given a six-month probationary sentence for harassment by phone.• Jenna Jones and Phillip Potter were fined $50 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for consumption of alcohol under the age of 21.• Janice Martin and Tracy L. McBride must pay $10 plus costs for disorderly conduct.• James Hopkins was issued a six-month probationary sentence and must perform eight hours public service work for disorderly conduct.• Jessica Ennis was bound to the grand jury on the charge of underage consumption.• Curtis Lehman must serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for public intoxication.• Terry McCormick must serve 10 days for failure to appear in court and was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a suspended license.• Mark Powers must serve 48 hours for failure to appear in court.• Donna Overall must serve 48 hours for failure to appear in court.• Jody Jennings must serve 48 hours for violation of probation.The remainder of the court cases on the docket were dismissed or moved to a later date.
