Judge Larry Ross hears 44-person traffic court docket

A 44-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court. Included in court action:• Wesley Young was ordered to serve 47 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $711 and lose his driver license for two years for second-offense driving on a revoked license, failure to appear in court and violation of probation. He had his probation extended by six months on his violation of probation charge.• Dewayne Wilder was instructed to serve five days and pay $272 for second-offense driving on a suspended license.• Michael Cantrell was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school, and lose his driving privileges for one year for DUI.• James Evans was ordered to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,109, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school and lose his driving privileges for one year for DUI.• Kurtis Newton was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $1,501 and perform 16 hours public service work for simple possession of drugs.• Patricia Linder was bound to the grand jury on the charge of driving on a suspended license.• Lamar Readus was instructed to serve 48 hours and pay $424 on two counts of driving without a license.• Carlos Quezada must pay $325 for driving without a license and speeding.• Phillip Potter was fined $344 for reckless driving and driving without insurance or seatbelt.• Phillip Dinovo was directed to pay $192 for driving without a license.• Eduvino Dominguez and Sarah Grizzle must pay $152 for driving without a license.
