A man charged with molesting a child faces up to 25 years in prison if he is convicted of the Class A felony.The suspect, William A. Johnson, waived his right to a preliminary hearing before General Sessions Judge Bill Locke and was bound to the grand jury on four counts of rape of a child.The exact dates of the incidents are not revealed in the four warrants against Johnson. They were brought by sheriff’s investigator Kevin Murphy following an interview of the female victim. The girl is now a teenager.
