A shoplifter who pushed past security after she was caught in the act was corralled after a short run from police.The shoplifter, Cynthia Guzman, 22, faces a number of charges including shoplifting, evading arrest, possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia and evading arrest. She will face hearing in General Sessions Court on Jan. 13.Her charges come after a member of Walmart loss prevention spotted her in the houseware section of the store and recognized her as a past shoplifter. It was her past crimes that led to her being watched.“I saw her open a package of curtains and conceal a panel in her purse,” the loss prevention officer said in the warrant against her.
