The Board of Education is planning a $3 million expansion project at Irving College School. But there won’t be any extra land for school expansion after talks with a nearby property owner have collapsed.“I don’t know why we’re even here talking about this,” said School Board member Scott Holmes. “There’s no way I’m going to fork over so much money for that land.”The school system had hoped to purchase an additional 10 acres from adjacent property owner Dwhite Woodlee.
