Illegal prescriptions net 113 day sentance

A woman who illegally wrote prescriptions for herself at local pharmacies was given a six-year sentence but will be allowed into the Drug Court program.The woman, Jill Marie Jones, 36, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to 15 counts of fraudulently obtaining drugs. She was given a six-year sentence but will only be required to serve 113 days, which she has already served, and pay a $2,000 fine plus court costs. She will be released into the local drug court which is an intensive 18-month drug rehab program overseen by the circuit court which requires random drug testing, surprise home inspections, drug rehab programs, and court attendance.
