There are no plans to hire an animal control officer to head the county’s Animal Control facility at this time, according to Warren County Executive John Pelham.“I think we should just hold tight right now,” said Pelham. “We’ve had an upset in the department, and it’s my desire to make sure everything is as it should be before we make any decision about hiring someone. We need a time of settling.”David Hennessee was officially fired Jan. 10 by Pelham and the county’s Health and Welfare Committee after admitting to hosing a dog with water, which is against county policy.
