Hernandez sentenced for second DUI

An 86-person arraignment docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Court. Included in morning docket action:• Jose Hernandez was directed to serve an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $1,731 and lose his driver license for second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license.• Gregory Reed was instructed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,517, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school and lose his driver license for one year for DUI. He must also forfeit his handgun carry permit for possession of a handgun while under the influence.• Chris Christian was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for second-offense driving on a revoked license.• Michael Davis was bound to the grand jury on charges of simple possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.• Juan Acuna was directed to serve 48 hours of an 11-29 sentence, pay $1,129, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school and forfeit driving privileges for one year for DUI.• Sean Harrison was bound to the grand jury on the charge of violating habitual traffic offender status.• Jerry Ferrell must pay $202 for driving without a license or seatbelt.• Felix Guzman must pay $304 for driving without a license.• Carlos Perez was instructed to serve 48 hours and pay $359 for driving without a license.• Ricardo Santillan must pay $192 for driving without a license.• Patricia Rodriguez must pay $324 for driving without a license or insurance.• Lucas Borcel, Tia Wilson, Michael Woodlee, Joshua Young, Efren Ocana, Christy Richardson, Charles Dennis and Shaunee Boyd must pay $152 for driving without a driver license.Clarifications• Jeremy Campbell who works for A.W. Stiles is not the same person charged with domestic assault and resisting arrest.• Carolyn Roberts, who teaches at Irving College and lives on Hebron Road, is not the same person charged with theft.
