Midway Head Start Open House will be held Friday from 1 to 4 p.m. The event will offer a wide array of community resources, including health information for children and possible employment opportunities for adults.“Our open house will be more of a fellowship for the community and families, not just for children wanting to begin head start,” said Jeanette Scott, Midway Head Start family service assistant and center supervisor.Available during the event will be health representatives from Walmart Vision Center, Health Department dental care, TennderCare and Health Connect. Looking for a job? Scott says Mobile Career Coach from the Tennessee Department of Labor will be on hand.“I think this is the first time they have been in Warren County,” she said.Mobile Career Coach has computers, copiers, and fax machines available to job-seekers.
