A young man with a purse will serve a month in jail.The man, Andrew Chase Stewart, 19, entered a guilty plea before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to the charge of misdemeanor theft. He was ordered to serve 30 days of a six-month sentence and pay $75 plus costs. His sentence must be served in addition to any other time he owes the state which includes his recent conviction for statutory rape.
