A Smithville man with a drunk driving history will serve 150 days after he was found passed out in his car outside a local restaurant.The drunk driver, Mark Hamilton, 37, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of third-offense DUI, reckless endangerment and possession of drugs. He will have to serve 150 days of a two-year sentence, pay $1,950 plus court costs, lose his driver license for three years and perform 16 hours public service work.His sentence comes after another motorist reported he was driving recklessly and had nearly run off the road minutes earlier. Police caught up to Hamilton’s vehicle at Hardees downtown.“The driver appeared to be passed out,” said McMinnville Patrolman Bobby Hammond.
