A Warren County High School student was given zero tolerance Friday after a muzzleloader was found in the trunk of his vehicle.Under the provisions of zero tolerance, it requires a student to be expelled from school for one calendar year.According to school system human resource director Roy Pierce, the zero tolerance ruling is being appealed and there will be a hearing Wednesday before the Discipline Board to determine what action to take. The incident happened Friday at WCHS. According to Pierce, a student was acting funny at school and was questioned about his behavior. The boy reportedly admitted to smoking marijuana while riding with another student on the way to school. That student was then brought out of class and questioned. During a search of his vehicle, a muzzleloader was found in the trunk.“He was very upfront about having the muzzleloader in his trunk when he was questioned about the marijuana,” said Pierce.
