McMinnville officials are considering a TVA grant to help fund the replacement of HPS bulbs in existing streetlights with LED bulbs as a cost-saving measure. The grant would refund up to $6,466.Mayor Jimmy Haley says the grant might not be available until October 2014, meaning the city would have to hold off on any plans to change out the bulbs until then. “It was looking like the money would be available in early 2014,” Haley said.
