Grand jury issues indictments

Indictments were handed down against several people this past term of the Warren County grand jury, including charges against a man accused of breaking a vase over his girlfriend’s head.The suspect, Steven Charles Robbins, was indicted by the grand jury on charges of aggravated domestic assault.His charges were brought after police responded to a domestic call and discovered the woman had been hit in the head with a vase, the vase breaking into three pieces when she was hit. Police said the woman had marks on her person. The woman and Robbins were reportedly fighting about a car accident when the argument escalated into violence.In other grand jury action:• Timothy Judkins was indicted on charges of evading arrest and initiating the process to manufacture meth.• David A. Johnson was indicted on charges of aggravated assault and possession of a prohibited weapon.• Johnny Barrett was indicted on the charge of domestic assault.• Jeffery B. Womack was indicted on the charge of domestic assault.• Buddy R. Baker was indicted on the charge of forgery.• Christopher Cripps was indicted on charges of possession of drugs, speeding, and DUI with a child under 18.• Sammy Mullican was indicted on charges of possession of drugs and initiating the process to manufacture meth.• Allen Crouch was indicted on the charge of domestic assault.• Travis R. Jernigan was indicted on the charge of domestic assault.• Kimberly Cantrell was indicted on charges of possession of drugs, speeding, driving on a suspended license, and possession of drug paraphernalia.• Anthony Vause was indicted on the charge of theft.• Peggy Martin was indicted on the charge of theft.• Gary M. Minton was indicted on charges of theft and forgery.• Penny Bryant was indicted on the charge of second-offense DUI.• Janie Green was indicted on charges of second-offense DUI and possession of drugs.• Kendra Hillis was indicted on the charge of second-offense driving on a suspended license.• Dustin Cope was indicted on charges of fifth-offense driving on a revoked license and fourth offense DUI.• Bethani McGuire was indicted on the charge of DUI.• Scotty Patrick was indicted on the charge of fourth-offense driving on a revoked license.• Susan Jacobs was indicted on charges of DUI and violation of the open-container law.• Jose Aguilar was indicted on the charge of driving on a suspended license.• Michael Murphy and Mark A. McCormick were both given no-true bills, meaning they were not indicted on their charges.
