The man who slammed into a deputy during a chase near Viola was among those indicted by the December session of the Warren County grand jury.
Included in grand jury indictments:
• Steffen M. Brady was indicted on charges of evading arrest, DUI, aggravated assault, vehicular assault, reckless endangerment, vandalism and reckless driving. He is charged for crashing into a deputy during a high-speed chase near Viola. The deputy was injured when his SUV crashed and overturned.
• Shana and Steven Smiley were indicted on charges of manufacture of marijuana, initiating the process to manufacture meth, possession of drugs, and possession of a weapon by a felon during a felony. They are charged for accidentally setting their home on fire with a meth lab when lawmen were executing a raid on the residence.
• Jeffery Fults was indicted on charges of second-offense DUI and reckless endangerment with a child.
• Franklin Taylor was indicted on charges of possession of marijuana for resale, possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license.
• Jennifer Bouldin and Shannon Evans were indicted on charges of introduction of drugs into the county jail.
• Joshua Russell was indicted on the charge of introduction of drugs into the county jail.
• Kelsie Griffin was indicted on the charge of aggravated burglary.
• James L. Bailey, James P. Bailey and Elisha Jenkins were indicted on charges of initiating the process to manufacture meth, theft over $1,000, possession of a firearm during a felony, and possession of marijuana.
• Kathryn Davenport was indicted on the charge of grand theft.
• Tammy Webb was indicted on the charge of theft.
• Shandra Mejia was indicted on the charge of theft.
• Jonathan Brewer and Makyla Stephens were indicted on the charge of vandalism.
• Ashley Cantrell was indicted on the charge of shoplifting.
• Troy Boyd was indicted on the charge of third-offense DUI.
• Etoye Bates was indicted on the charge of DUI.
• Rachel Murphy was indicted on the charge of driving on a revoked license.
• Vanessa Pinegar was indicted on the charge of third-offense driving on a suspended license.
• Jeffery Chandler was indicted on the charge of underage consumption.
