A Tennessee House of Representatives candidate accused of writing hot checks and ripping off a former employer won’t face trial until next year, by which time he could be the 43rd District’s representative in Nashville.The candidate, Kristopher Gore, 26, remains on the Democratic Party primary ballot despite his indictment on multiple felony counts. He is running against fellow Warren countians James Jacobs and Kevin Dunlap. The winner will advance to the election in November.
