The Warren County Highway Department and Highway and Bridge Committee are looking into joining the National Joint Powers Association to expedite the bidding process and obtain lower prices when purchasing equipment and supplies.In a committee meeting held Thursday night, Road Superintendent Levie Glenn asked members to consider the association, explaining, “The school system’s a member of it and a lot of other highway associations have joined it. They’ve got a lot of different things they’ve already gone out and bid and they’ll furnish you that information. You get the best price.
