A 3-year-old was killed over the weekend when she fell from the four-wheeler on which she was riding with her father. The victim, Harmony Rose Enos, 3, who would have turned 4 on Monday, died from her injuries at the scene of the early evening crash near the family’s home on Wash Roberts Road.According to Sheriff Jackie Matheny, the time of the accident was Friday just after 8 p.m., the crash happening in a remote wooded area of Harrison Ferry Mountain near the Van Buren County line.“The best we can tell, the little girl was riding along with her father on a four-wheeler when something happened and it rolled over and landed on both of them,” Matheny said. The grieved father, Michael Enos, 30, carried his child to a nearby house where he sought help. Emergency responders rushed to the scene, however, severe head injuries had already claimed the little girl’s life.“When the officer got on the scene the father was sitting there by his daughter and emergency responders were trying to administer aid but there was nothing they could do,” Matheny said. “They then went and investigated the scene of the wreck and recovered the four-wheeler.”An investigation is being conducted by the sheriff’s department.
