General Sessions: Arraignment Court

A 29-person docket was heard Tuesday morning by Judge Bill Locke in General Sessions arraignment court. Included in court action:• Anthony E. Moore was instructed to serve 15 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $750 plus costs and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for possession of drugs and public intoxication.• Ricky Thatch was instructed to serve four days of an 11-29 sentence and pay $250 plus costs for possession of drugs.• Shaneeka Pleasant was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $75 plus costs and restitution, perform 24 hours public service work and must stay out of Walmart for shoplifting.• Norman Cox was directed to serve four days of an 11-29 sentence for domestic assault.• Marshall Beaty was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $60 plus costs and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license, speeding and failure to appear in court.• Cody King must serve four days and have his probation extended by a month for violation of probation.• Crystal Self was ordered to serve five days and have her probation extended by a year for violation of probation.• Bryan Reed must pay $80 plus costs for driving without a license, driving uninsured, running a stop sign, and failure to appear in court.
