A man who pawned over $1,000 worth of property he stole during the burglary of a McClain Road home has been released on time served.The defendant, Charles Richard Anderson Jr., 25, was given an 11-month, 29-day sentence but released on time served for theft and aggravated criminal trespass. He was also directed to serve make restitution and undergo a mental evaluation.His sentence comes after he broke into a home stealing coins, a guitar and a Nintendo system with games. He sold the guitar to KK Pawn in Manchester and the gaming system to a local resident.In other General Sessions trial court action heard by Judge Bill Locke:• Kayla Simpson was ordered to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $350 plus costs and attend anger management for domestic assault.• Bernard Hope was bound to the grand jury on the charge of violation of the sexual offender registry.• Jean-Luc Killer and Ayal Keller were bound to the grand jury on the charge of assault on a minor.• James Phillips was issued an 11-29 probationary sentence and must pay $350 plus costs, perform 25 hours public service work and attend alcohol and drug assessment for possession of marijuana.• Albert Cantrell was given an 11-29 probationary sentence and must make restitution for passing two worthless checks totaling $900.• James Whitworth was bound to the grand jury for passing two worthless checks totaling $631.• James Jennings was released on time served for violation of probation.• Cynthia Morrison was instructed to serve 30 days and had her probation extended by a year for violation of probation.• Brenton Mooneyham was ordered to serve 60 days and had his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.• Jeffery Vandagriff Jr. had his probation extended by six months for violation of probation.• Joshua Butterbaugh was directed to serve 48 hours, have his probation extended by six months and undergo a drug and alcohol assessment for violation of probation.• Steven Davis must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation.Clarification• The James Phillips on the docket for possessing marijuana is not the same James Phillips who goes to Locust Street Church of God.
