The gazebo at Riverfront Park has been condemned. According to city administrator Bill Brock, the decision was made by the city’s insurance company and it’s out of the city’s hands.Brock directed McMinnville Parks and Recreation director Scott McCord to remove the stairs to prevent access.“I had Scott to remove the steps from it so no one could get up there in any way,” Brock said. “I’m sure he will be coming to the committee, probably around budget time since we are getting close to it, and ask what the wishes are for the future of the gazebo.
