Enough was enough for a local man who was sentenced to serve 12 years after his latest brush with the law.The man, Jeffery Lynn Roberts, 34, entered guilty pleas before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to charges of theft over $10,000, evading arrest, and driving on a revoked license. With his guilt came the violation of his probation on three separate counts including burglary, initiating the process to manufacture meth, and delivery of drugs. The end total was a sentence of 12 years. His newest crime which triggered his long sentence came after a series of events which started when police responded to the report of a 2004 Ford 150 being stolen from a residence on Lance Street. A short time later, McMinnville police officer Jared Jacobs said he saw the vehicle.“The stolen vehicle was on Sparta Street and I observed it turn into Hot Wheels Lane,” Jacobs said in his warrant against Roberts.
