Nunley Stadium was rockin' with football action Tuesday night as the Warren County Middle School football team opened its season against Franklin North.
Creed Adams provided an early highlight for the Pioneers when he rambled 50-yards for a TD on a fake punt to put Warren County up, 6-0.
However, Franklin North would score the next 26 points on the way to claiming a 26-12 win.
It was a much happier picture across town at Warren County High School. The WCHS Lady Pioneer soccer team started what's expected to be a strong season with a 5-1 win over Ooltewah. Katie Toney scored three goals and Bekah Jackson scored twice in what's sure to be a frequent sight this season for the high-scoring duo.
