A long, worrisome year for organizers of the Warren County Emergency Food Bank comes to an end with both good and bad news. Local support diverted a food bank crisis, but change is coming in 2012.“It appears the food bank will not have to close next year,” said Chris Hubert, who currently runs the food bank with his wife, Karen. “Since the cut in federal funding, we have tapped into some local resources.”Hubert says those resources are Jarden Consumer Solutions with employee Sherry Denning, and Bridgestone with employee Carol Rose.“Both Denning and Rose are extremely busy, but they made the extra effort to help the food bank with obtaining grants,” he said.
